Ben Farrar (born 2 December 1986 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league player who currently plays for the Catalans Dragons in the Super League competition.

Farrar, a Newcastle junior, joined the North Queensland Cowboys from the Parramatta Eels not Western Suburbs Newcastle in 2007 and played 38 games for the club until his move to Manly in mid-2009 in a player swap for Michael Bani. Normally a centre or winger, Farrar was thrust into the fullback role for the Sea Eagles in 2010 following a season ending knee injury to team mate Brett Stewart. Despite not having played at the back since his junior days, Farrar generally impressed with his displays at fullback for the Sea Eagles becoming a strong last line of defense.

Farrar represented NSW Under 19's while still in Newcastle and made his first grade debut for North Queensland against the Sea Eagles at Dairy Farmers Stadium in 2007.

On 14 September 2010 it was announced Farrar had signed for the Catalans Dragons who play in the European Super League
